Champaign police have arrested JUSTIN BROWN, 38, of Champaign, in connection to the shooting of a 23 year-old Champaign man on September 23, 2014, in the 500 block of Alabama Avenue.
Brown was arrested October 1, 2014, at 1:01 PM on a Champaign County warrant for Attempted Murder; Aggravated Battery; and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm. The arrest was made in the 1800 block of Windsor Road in Urbana. A bond was set at $500,000.
Champaign detectives will continue to follow up on investigative leads and are asking the public to come forward with information about this crime. The Department would like to thank the United States Marshals for their assistance with locating Brown.
