Starting Monday, July 9, 2018, Cross Construction Company will begin work on Prospect Avenue from Marketview Drive to just north of Meijer Drive, and on Marketview Drive from just west of Anthony Drive to just east of Anthony Drive. Work will consist of milling off the existing surface, paving a new asphalt surface, and applying new pavement markings. The roads will be open to through traffic, however, motorists are urged to take alternate routes. Work will be done overnight between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday. The paving work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, July 27, 2018.
After this section of Prospect Avenue is complete, Cross Construction will work on paving North Prospect Avenue (north of Interstate Drive to Olympian Drive), Marketview Drive (east of Prospect Avenue to Neil Street), and Moreland Boulevard (Marketview Drive to Town Center Boulevard). This work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, September 14, 2018.
