On December 28, 2018, the Office of Equity, Community and Human Rights partnered with First Followers to host the City’s first Minority/Female Owned Business Certification event. Thirty individuals and organizations attended the event to be certified, and are now on a vendor list. The City will use this list to increase the number of opportunities for minority and female owned businesses to engage in City business. Additional events will be held in the coming months.
