The Community Reinvestment Group kicked off the new year with a new monthly date and meeting location. The group, comprised of banks, local government and nonprofit housing providers, will meet the second Wednesday of the month at the Parkland Business Development Center. The City of Champaign previously hosted this group each month over the past decade and prior to that, various banks served as the meeting location.
The group decided to hold at least two credit seminars in the coming year and to possibly partner with State Rep Ammons on her planned housing fair later this year. Neighborhood Services Department staff updated the group on the status of the Bristol Development and the Annual Action Plan Schedule.
