For the fourth year in a row, the Hill Street Parking Deck saw record totals of vehicles and revenue during the dates of Ebertfest and the Marathon. Ebertfest organizers promote the deck as a parking option for festival goers and volunteers because of its location and other amenities. Because there are no time limits, deck customers do not need to worry about a meter expiring if a movie starts late or a post-movie discussion goes long; instead customers pay upon exit for the length of time parked. Also, deck customers have multiple payment options: credit, bills and coins are all accepted. Additional deck staff was on hand on these dates to assist customers with questions and to help expedite exit processes.
