In order to complete yard waste collection in the Orange 4 and Orange 5 zones that was postponed due to snow and ice operations, the Public Works Operations Division will collect those zones on Monday, December 22, 2025, weather permitting. Residents in the Orange 4 and Orange 5 zones should ensure their yard waste is placed within 10 feet of the curb by 6 a.m. on December 22. Yard waste must be properly bagged or bundled and set away from obstacles.
Collection has been completed in all Blue and Orange 1, 2, and 3, yard waste zones. Residents in those zones may take materials to the Landscape Recycling Center in Urbana for a small fee.
