On June 21, 2025, Strides Shelter hosted their annual summer BBQ event in Beardsley Park. The event is a way to bring together the Strides guests and staff with the greater community for an afternoon of meaningful conversations, grilled food and fun. NSD provided tables, chairs, a speaker, and games for the event.
