2025 Champaign Neighborhood Network Conference Wrap-Up

Mayor Feinen provided inspiring opening remarks at the breakfast reception. This event was attended by more than 100 community leaders representing neighborhood groups, community organizations and other governmental units.

City Departments, including the City Manager’s Office, Equity and Engagement, Planning and Development, Public Works, Police, Fire, Library, and Neighborhood Services, provided workshops throughout the day. They shared information regarding City goals and engagement efforts.

During the keynote speech at lunch, City Manager Joan Walls reaffirmed the City’s commitment to neighborhood-based engagement and organizing, and provided a rousing call to action, exclaiming “It’s On” to all in attendance.
