The Public Works Department will install a special loading and unloading zone in front of the new Unit 4 Special Education – Young Adult Program building at 402 N. Randolph Street. This zone will accommodate specialized pickup and drop-off vehicles as well as ambulances and medical vehicles occasionally needed for the location.
Public Works staff will soon remove parking meters 2507 to 2510 located on west side of 402 N. Randolph and replace them with custom signage stating, “Champaign Unit 4 Loading Zone – School Days – 8 am-4 pm”.
