In order to perform a sanitary sewer and sinkhole repair, A&R Mechanical Services, Inc. has closed a portion of Daniel Street between Fifth Street and Sixth Street. No through traffic will be allowed on the block; however, access to local properties will be maintained. The intersection of Daniel Street and Fifth Street will also remain open to traffic. The work will continue through Monday, August 5, 2024, and is scheduled to be completed and the area reopened to normal traffic by 4 p.m., weather permitting.
