CNNC Live! Neighborhood Engagement Events for July

On alternating Thursdays throughout the summer, the Neighborhood Services Department hosts CNNC Live! events. During the month of July, we focused our engagement efforts on two key neighborhoods in north Champaign.

The Carver Park CNNC Live! event was held on July 11. City departments including CMO, Public Works, Planning, Police, Fire, and Equity and Engagement were present. We were also joined by several City Council members and staff from community resource providers, specific to the needs of neighbors, who walked the neighborhood along with us to share information and resources with Carver Park neighbors.

On July 25 CNNC Live! was held at Bristol Park. The event provided an opportunity for City staff and community resources providers to share information and resources with neighbors in the Bristol Place Residences community and surrounding neighborhoods. The event included food, music, family friendly games, activities, and information sharing from community resource providers. The next CNNC Live! event is scheduled for August 8 in Providence at Thornberry. For more information on the CNNC Live! Neighborhood Engagement Campaign, click here.
