NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all interested citizens that the City of Champaign will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Champaign City Building, 102 North Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois, for the purpose of reviewing the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2024/2025 Annual Budget, including the budget for the proposed Capital Improvements Program.
The public is encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. During the Public Hearing all interested citizens will be given an opportunity to provide written and oral comments regarding the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2024/2025 Annual Budget. The City of Champaign strives to ensure that its programs, services and activities are accessible to individuals with disabilities. On or after May 3, 2024, a copy of the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2024/2025 Annual Budget will be available for public inspection on the City’s website http://champaignil.gov/finance/budget. A copy will also be available in the Finance Department located on the second floor of the Champaign City Building, 102 North Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois and in the Champaign Public Library at the Reference Desk. This Notice is given, and the Public Hearing is being held pursuant to the laws of the State of Illinois.
