2024 Champaign Neighborhood Network Conference

Registration is now open for the 2024 Champaign Neighborhood Network Conference (CNNC), scheduled for Friday, May 17, from 8:00 am -5:00 pm at the I-Hotel and Conference Center. The CNNC conference is geared towards Champaign’s registered neighborhood group leaders, their respective neighbors, and any community members interested in neighborhood organizing and engagement efforts. Workshop presenters include representatives from various City Departments, local governing bodies/institutions, and community partner agencies covering topics relevant to maintaining vibrant and engaged neighborhoods. The conference will include a welcome breakfast and a lunch featuring Keynote Speaker Precious McKesson, President of Neighborhoods USA  (NUSA). The conference is free and open to the public. The conference is followed by a resource vendor fair, cookout, and concert in West Side Park on May 18 from noon to 4:00 pm. This serves as the kick-off event to the Champaign NEIGHBORhood NetWORKS Campaign (CNNC). The CNNC campaign will include targeted engagement events, as well as neighborhood-based engagement events meant to increase resident involvement, diversity of representation, and active participation in neighborhood-based programs.
