In order to perform storm sewer lining, Visu-Sewer of Missouri LLC will be closing one westbound lane of John Street between Chicago Avenue and McKinley Avenue. During this time, traffic on John Street will be reduced to a single, shared lane through a short construction work zone. Local traffic will be controlled by a worker flagger at each end of the work zone. Local driveways within this zone will remain accessible.
Work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 5, 2023, and is planned to be completed and reopened to traffic the same day. Work operations and lane impacts are daytime only, affecting traffic between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Minor delays may occur at work zones. The work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.
