As part of the City’s 2023 Concrete Street Improvements Project, the pavement on Mullikin Drive from Windsor Road to Copper Ridge Road will be reconstructed. A and R Services is the contractor for the City of Champaign.
Beginning Friday, August 18, 2023, the northbound lane of Mullikin Drive will be closed from Villa Drive to Windsor Road. This section of Mullikin Drive will temporarily become one lane, one-way southbound traffic only. Copper Ridge Road will be closed on the east side of Mullikin Drive to facilitate the replacement of pavement in the northbound lane of Mullikin Drive.
The work on Mullikin Drive is in conjunction with work on Copper Ridge Road. Work on both streets is scheduled to be completed by mid-November of this year.
