The Equity and Engagement Department had the pleasure of working with students from Academy High’s Women Empowerment Club during the month of May. These students had a presentation from City staff regarding the impact of the Blueprint and decided they wanted to be a part of the solution. They chose to gather menstrual products throughout the month of May to give to Blueprint partners who may need the resources. The club members hosted donation boxes at Academy Highschool and Central Highschool. On June 5, City staff facilitated getting the donations to Courage Connection, a Blueprint partner, who was extremely grateful for the support of these students!
