As part of the City’s 2023 Concrete Street Improvements Project, the pavement on Augusta Drive from Robert Drive to Theodore Drive will be reconstructed. A and R Services will be the contractor for the City of Champaign, and they will begin work on Monday, May 22, 2023, weather permitting.
Beginning Monday, May 22, the northbound/westbound lane of Augusta Drive will be closed between Robert Drive and Theodore Drive. This section of Augusta Drive will temporarily become one-lane, one-way eastbound/southbound traffic only. Work on August Drive is scheduled to be completed by October 27, 2023.
