During the City’s annual Employee Awards and Service Recognition Ceremony on November 16, 2022, the City celebrated the accomplishments and service of many of our exceptional staff members. This year’s ceremony honored 144 employees for going above and beyond the call of duty during the last challenging year. Employee Awards are earned in recognition of one of the City’s five values. This year, 27 employees received an individual Employee Award in the categories of Personal Integrity, Responsibility, Respect, or Results, and another 117 employees were honored with a Teamwork award.
The City also recognized 83 employees with a service pin for faithfully serving Champaign’s residents for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years! Combined, these dedicated employees have served the Champaign’s residents for more than 1,235 years!
