As part of the City’s 2022 Concrete Street Improvement Project, the pavement on Fourth Street from Armory Avenue to Daniel Street is being reconstructed. A and R Services is the contractor for the City of Champaign.
Beginning Monday, September 19, the westbound lane of Armory Avenue will be closed between Fourth Street and Fifth Street. This section of Armory Avenue will temporarily become one lane, one-way eastbound traffic only. Work on Fourth Street is scheduled to be completed by mid-October this year.
