On September 10, 2022, the BPM2 neighborhood group hosted a neighborhood-based block party for their residents, supported by the Neighborhood Ambassador team. More than 50 neighbors enjoyed an evening of food, games, a bounce house, and music. C-U Trauma Resilience Initiative attended the event as a resource vendor and made meaningful connections with the residents of the area.
Neighborhood based events provide a family-friendly atmosphere, support community engagement, and promote goodwill throughout the registered neighborhoods in the city. The event was funded by the neighborhood group using the city’s Small Grant Program.
