In conjunction with the City’s 2022 Concrete Street Improvement Project, contractors will be closing the southbound lane of Western Avenue from Chevy Chase Drive to Normandy Drive. This portion of Western Avenue will become a one-way, northbound-only street during the closure. Work will begin at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, and end in approximately two weeks.
