On August 9, 2022, Community Relations Manager Tracy Parsons (Equity and Engagement Dept.) visited with youth participating in “Rantoul Works”, a Champaign County Community Coalition Youth Summer Initiative Program. Nearly 40 youth completed this program, working to clean up neighborhoods in Rantoul for three hours daily in July and August. This was an opportunity for young people to beautify their neighborhoods, take ownership of their community, and earn money.
