In conjunction with the City’s 2022 Concrete Street Improvements Project, Illinois American Water Company will be replacing water main along Western Avenue, crossing Chevy Chase Drive. Work at this location will continue at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, and is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, June 22, 2022, weather permitting. During this time, Chevy Chase Drive will be closed on the west side of Western Avenue; however, Western Avenue and Chevy Chase Drive to the east will remain open.
