Champaign Police Department Launches Marketing Campaign for Experienced Officers
On April 4, 2022, the Champaign Police Department launched a new marketing campaign aimed at recruiting experienced officers. The campaign webpage can be viewed online at champaignil.gov/lateral.
The page serves as a centerpiece in the new “Level Up” marketing campaign, with targeted online advertising also being utilized to reach potential candidates. It features photos of officers from the Police Department and highlights the many great reasons to come to work in Champaign. Additional graphics from the campaign will also be used to refresh printed recruitment materials used at recruiting events.
Staff from the Police Department worked with the City Manager’s Office and Human Resources and engaged vendor Surface 51 in the development of the marketing materials.
