In order to construct new storm sewers, SNC Construction will be closing the northern lane of Louisiana Avenue between Elm Street and Bloomington Road. Two-way traffic will be sharing the single southern lane of the street.
Work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, December 13, and is planned to be completed and reopened to traffic by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Minor traffic delays may occur at work zones. On Tuesday, December 14, a full closure of the roadway will be required for approximately two hours to allow for a pipe installation crossing the roadway. All intersection travel will remain unaffected by this work.
