Mayor Feinen Reelected to the Illinois Municipal League Board of Directors

Picture of Mayor FeinenThe City of Champaign congratulates Mayor Deborah Frank Feinen for being reelected to the Illinois Municipal League (IML) Board of Directors. The IML recently held its 108th Annual Conference, and the election took place during the group’s Annual Business Meeting on September 25, 2021. Mayor Feinen was reelected to serve as one of the Board’s 34 Vice Presidents and will proudly serve another one-year term for the statewide organization.

“With all Illinois communities facing significant issues due to the lingering effects of COVID-19, it is more important than ever that we all work together for the benefit of everyone in Illinois,” said Mayor Feinen. “I am honored to be reelected to serve in this important role and will continue to advocate for not only Champaign, but also municipalities throughout our state.”

The City also congratulates Decatur Mayor Julie Moore Wolfe who was elected to a one-year term as President, River Forest Village President Catherine Adduci who was elected First Vice President, and Hazel Crest Village President Vernard L. Alsberry, Jr. who was elected Second Vice President.
