Neil Street Lane Closure
In order to complete gas service replacement at the City Building (102 N Neil), Ameren Illinois will close one southbound lane of Neil Street between Chester Street and University Avenue. The closure will begin on Monday, June 28, 2021 and will reopen on Friday, July 2, 2021, weather permitting. Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area. The two loading zones in the areas will also be closed, in addition to a portion of the sidewalk on the west side of the City Building.
The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling through and near work zones.
