The Champaign Fire Department responded to a fire inside a home at 20 Raintree Drive, Monday, February 8, 2021, at 8:23 a.m. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire in this mobile home.
Firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming from the mobile home, called in by a passerby. Once on the scene, fire crews reported heavy smoke coming from the home. Firefighters deployed a single hose line and extinguished the fire found in the living room of the home.
The cause of this fire is undetermined as investigators remain on the scene conducting their investigation. There were no firefighter injuries reported. The occupants were not home at the time of the fire.
