Landlord Virtual Forum

Picture of the Champaign-Urbana Help WebpageOn November 20, the Neighborhood Services Department – Coordination Division facilitated the “Landlords: Helping Tenants Access Rent Resource” virtual forum. The purpose of the forum was to educate landlords on available resources and encourage continued communication with tenants to ensure they know how to access the help they need. Staff from Champaign County Regional Planning Commission, Champaign Township and City of Urbana explained their respective assistance application process and gave an overview of eligibility requirements.

Post forum, NSD staff provided a list of contacts, links to agency website, and a link to the City’s CU Helps webpage to the 35 landlords in attendance. Neighborhood Services will continue to explore ways to work with partner agencies to share targeted information as we all work together through these tough times.
