Twelve City employees participated across three Leadership and Management Workshops between October 20 and 23. The interactive workshops were originally scheduled as in-person sessions and were successfully transitioned to online events due to the ongoing pandemic. The sessions offered the opportunity for attendees to learn about the differences between leadership and management, leading teams, delegation, and maximizing meetings. In addition to enhancing their own abilities, the workshop offered participants the chance to collaborate with other employees across the organization about ways to enhance leadership and management throughout the City. HR will continue to look for and provide quality training opportunities for staff utilizing alternative delivery methods to ensure the health and safety of City staff.
