Topics covered during Thursday’s meeting and future sessions include: the benefits of a fire service career, day in the life of a firefighter, training and promotional opportunities, CPAT overview and registration, and application and testing requirements/process including practice test administration and application submission assistance. Eligible program participants will receive application and/or CPAT fee funding subsidies.
There are nine participants in this year’s program. Fire Department staff coordinating and hosting the program include Deputy Chief Tyler Funk, Lieutenants Todd Anderson and Jason Rector, and Firefighter Whitney Anderson, supported by Asst.
