NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all interested citizens that the City of Champaign will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Champaign City Building, 102 North Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois, for the purpose of reviewing the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2020/2021 Annual Budget, including the budget for the proposed Capital Improvements Program. If, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is determined the meeting must be held electronically, directions on how to access the Public Hearing will be made available on www.champaignil.gov.
The public is encouraged to attend this Public Hearing, whether it is held in-person or electronically. During the Public Hearing all interested citizens will be given an opportunity to provide written and oral comments regarding the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2020/2021 Annual Budget. The City of Champaign strives to ensure that its programs, services and activities are accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you are an individual with a disability and require assistance to observe or participate, please contact the City of Champaign Finance Department at 403-8940 (or TDD #403-8736), at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting date. If the meeting is held electronically, directions on how to make comments during the Public Hearing will be published on www.champaignil.gov.
A copy of the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2020/2021 Annual Budget will be available for public inspection on the City’s website http://champaignil.gov/finance/budget on Friday, May 8, 2020. Questions regarding the proposed budget can be directed to the Finance Department (403-8940).
