In order to perform contracted tree work, the Public Works Department will close one southbound lane of Mattis Avenue between John Street and Sangamon Drive. The closure will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, April 15 and is planned for completion by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, weather permitting.
The closure will take place during daylight hours only and will reduce southbound Mattis Avenue traffic to one lane in the area.
