The City has received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the 29th year. This award demonstrates that the City’s adopted budget document is of the very highest quality, reflecting the guidelines and best practices established by GFOA and the National Advisory Council on State and Local Budgeting.
The annual budget document was reviewed by selected members of GFOA professional staff and other experienced public-sector budgeting professionals from throughout the United States and Canada. Finance staff uses the feedback from these reviews to improve the budget document each year.
