On February 27 and 28, 2019, the League of Women Voters of Champaign County, the NAACP-Champaign County, and The News-Gazette sponsored two candidate forums which were telecast live on CGTV and live streamed on CGTV Online.
- The February 27 forum featured candidates for Urbana School Board, Champaign School Board, and Parkland Community College Board.
- The February 28 forum featured candidates for the Champaign City Council (At Large), Champaign Mayor, and the Urbana Park District.
The forums will replay on CGTV throughout the month of March. They can also be viewed on-demand on CGTV Online through Election Day.
