On Nov. 1, at approximately 7:25 p.m., Champaign Police and officers from the Street Crimes Task Force arrested Jaliqwon Robertson in the 1000 block of West Maple Street in Champaign after a Crime Stoppers tip led police to his location. Robertson was arrested without incident.
Robertson was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Aggravated Battery with a Firearm following a police investigation into an October 30, 2018, shooting in the 900 block of North Third Street that resulted in the hospitalization of an individual with non-life-threatening injuries. Bond on the warrant was set at $500,000.

Champaign Police reminds citizens that information submitted to Crime Stoppers is completely anonymous. Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this crime.
