In order to construct new storm sewer and ditch re-grading, Duce Construction will be working on John Street and Mitchell Court. One lane of John Street will be closed between Jackson Street and Teal Cove Court. Traffic on John Street will be reduced to a single, shared lane in both directions through a short work zone. Work is planned to begin on Monday, August 28 at 7 a.m. and be completed and reopened to traffic by 4 p.m. Friday,September 1.
Work has also closed one lane of Mitchell Court beginning Wednesday, August 23 and is anticipated for completion by Friday, September 1.
This work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather. The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling through work zones.
