2017 SEWER LINING WORK TO BEGIN
DMA / Mid – America, a sub-contractor for Insituform Technologies LLC will be performing pre-cleaning and televising for the 2017 Sewer Lining Contract throughout the City of Champaign beginning June 20, 2017. Sewer lining rehabilitates existing sewers to a like-new condition. Initial cleaning on June 20, 2017 is scheduled for 5th Street from University Avenue to Springfield Avenue and various other locations throughout the U of I campus area. All cleaning is weather dependent.
Operations will begin at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday June 20. Operations for the pre-cleaning and televising are daytime only and will not impact evening travel occurring after 6:00 p.m.
The public is encouraged to obey all construction signs or plan alternative routes to avoid
this work.
