There is a new episode of Champaign Connection now playing most nights at 6:30 p.m. on CGTV (Comcast and iTV3 channel 5 and AT&T U-verse channel 99). This episode will air on CGTV until the end of May. It is also available on-demand on the City’s website and YouTube page. On episode 56:
- Get the latest updates to the Multimodal Corridor Enhancement Project a.k.a. MCORE. We have heard about it, and are now seeing the beginning of its construction on Green Street. We’ll find out when and where each construction project will happen and how it will affect your daily commute.
- Meet Donna Pittman, our new library director. We’ll learn how the library is adapting to changing trends and challenges. Plus, we find out what exciting activities and events await you at our beautiful public library.
- Finally, the City of Champaign remains committed to fostering a welcoming community for all. We meet with Police Chief Anthony Cobb to talk about immigration and the police department’s role – if any – in immigration enforcement.
