The Keep Champaign Beautiful committee participated at the Land Connection’s October 25th Farmer’s Market in downtown Champaign as part of their America Recycles Day event. Reusable shopping bags were provided to all attendees visiting the event. The market had a Halloween theme, so children participated in decorating pumpkins, acorns, and leaves which were attached to the shopping bag and used to “trick or treat”. Plenty of candy was on hand to pass out to all.
