Foreclosure filings through April 2016 are now reported. The chart below outlines foreclosure activity within the City of Champaign over the past few years.

As of April 2016, an average of 1.75 foreclosures were filed per month. RealtyTrac states that one in every 941 Illinois housing units received a foreclosure filing in April of 2016. Champaign County is considered low risk on their indicator chart, as one in every 4885 housing units received a foreclosure notice in February. NSD Staff will continue to monitor City of Champaign filings to assess the impact of foreclosures in the community.
