Slurry Seal Project Update
This year’s slurry seal project started May 4 and should be complete by the end of the week, May 20 (weather pending). The contractor for this year’s project is Micro-Surfacing Contractors, LLC from Peoria. The project concentrates work on the oil and chip type streets in the southeast one-third of the City. This project will seal approximately 11 lane miles of City oil and chip type streets.
