The Neighborhood Services Department (NSD), in collaboration with the Ironwood Homeowner Association, hosted the first quarterly meeting of Homeowner Association (HOA) Leaders. The goal of this new initiative is to create an environment where NSD can provide technical support and advice and HOA leaders can meet and provide peer-to-peer sharing related to issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by leaders from four registered HOA groups. Topics discussed included: HOA dues collection, board maintenance and stability, detention pond maintenance issues, and architectural committee issues. The group will meet again in June to discuss code compliance issues with Code Compliance Manager David Oliver, Small Grant availability to registered groups, and possible solutions to problems with geese.
