On Monday, August 3, 2015 bids were opened for the demolition of 1904 Alton Drive. Eight contractors submitted bids, four of which were minority or woman owned businesses. Bids ranged from $8,115 to $23,000. A contract with Mid Illinois Concrete and Construction, Inc., low bidder, was executed and a Notice to Proceed was provided to the contractor on Friday, August 7, 2015. The project is scheduled for completion by mid-September.
