The Illinois Department of Transportation announces that a lane reduction on US 150 from the Sangamon River in Mahomet to Mattis Avenue in Champaign will begin July 6, 2015.
The lane reduction is necessary for resurfacing, patching, guardrail replacement, pedestrian ramp updates, and culvert repair work to be completed on US 150. One lane of traffic will be maintained during construction.
The overall project has an anticipated completion date of October 1, 2015, weather permitting. The contractor for the $2,698,504 project is Open Road Paving.
