On Friday, April 17, at approximately 10:57 a.m., Champaign Police Department Detectives arrested Curtis T. Hairston, a 39-year-old male from Champaign, IL. Hairston was arrested in connection with the October 25, 2014 Murder of Jermel Hedrick, in the 1500 block of Winston Dr. in Champaign.
Champaign Police Detectives, with the assistance of the Champaign County State’s Attorney’s Office, obtained an arrest warrant for Curtis Hairston for the offense of First Degree Murder. Bond is set at $1,000,000.
