Insituform Technologies USA will be performing sewer lining of 12,000 feet of sanitary sewers and storm sewers throughout the City of Champaign beginning September 2, 2014. Sewer lining rehabilitates existing sewers to a like-new condition.
Sewer lining work will begin after 7 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, and is planned to continue until December 2014, weather permitting. Sewer lining work is daytime only unless additional notice is given to the public, and will not impact evening travel occurring after 6 p.m. Buildings served by the sewers scheduled to be lined will be notified by door hanger at least 24 hours prior to lining.
The public is encouraged to obey all construction signs or plan alternative routes to avoid this work.
