Annual Paving Project

Champaign – Starting June 16, 2014, Cross Construction Company will begin work on the City’s annual asphalt paving project.

• Anthony Drive from Mattis Avenue to Marketview Drive
• Hagan Street from Bloomington Road to Kenyon Road
• Kenyon Road from Hagan Street to Market Street
• Dobbins Down Neighborhood within City limits (Dale Dr., Walters Dr., Campbell Dr., Curt Dr., and Comanche Dr.)

The work will consist of pavement patching, limited curb replacement, sidewalk ramp replacement, milling off a portion of the existing surface, paving two layers of new asphalt surface, manhole adjustments, and new pavement markings. There will be intermittent lane closures throughout the construction period; however, one lane will be open at all times. Access to driveways and businesses will be open at all times. Work will be completed by August 8, 2014.
