Champaign – In order to install electric feeds and to remove the tower crane at 519 East Green Street, Broeren Russo and Mid-Illinois Concrete will close Sixth Street between Green Street and John Street on two occasions:
• Monday, March 24, 2014 – Sunday, March 30, 2014 (Electric Installation)
• Tuesday, April 1, 2014 – Wednesday, April 2, 2014 (Tower Crane Removal) — These dates have been revised in order to avoid a street closure over UI Mom’s Day Weekend.
During these two closures, through traffic will not be allowed in the area, but the contractor will accommodate deliveries. The road will be closed for as little time as is possible to complete the work.
