A total of 213 service requests from citizens and City staff were recorded during November 2012 in the Public Works Department. This number decreased by 100 (32%) requests compared to the 313 requests that were received in October. The chart below tracks the number of requests recorded each day by staff.
The Sewer Section received the most service requests with a combined total of 84 (39%) calls, which includes sewer-related calls (37) and miscellaneous requests (47). The Traffic and Lighting Section was second with 27 (13%) electrical-related service requests.
The greatest number of service requests was for pothole repair at 22 (10%) calls; sewer backup was second with 21(10%) calls; and third was dead animal pickup with 20 (9%) calls.
